Breakout fashion designer Trisha Williams, presents an exclusive S/S collection preview and designer meet and greet event on February 20, 2013 at Showroom 77 (1520 Kater Street, Phila.) 6PM-9PM. Experience the fresh color palettes paired with the smooth avant-garde designing of the Trisha Will collection.
Williams’ line is full of retro silhouettes featuring a contemporary edge, targeted woman who wants to establish their sophisticated sense of fashion while thriving at life on the go. Discovering this ideal balance between style and functionality is something Williams, mother of 3 knows well. William’s also draws inspiration from her visits to her Barbadian homeland and utilizes her designs as a method to display homage to her heritage.
Launched in Spring of 2012, Williams’s fabrication combinations and cutting-edge construction pull heavily from her experience of balancing the calm of island life with the structure of the New York fashion industry. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Williams worked with major corporate retailers such as Victoria’s Secret, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue after receiving her B.S. in Fashion Design from Syracuse University.
