Alexis Salgado is a Cuban American singer that hails from Miami, Florida. Alexis was born in 1996 in San Gabriel, California as Alexis Francesca Salgado to parents Humberto Salgado MD and Maria Salgado ( Both of Cuban Descent ) and lived in San Marino. Her parents moved when she was very young....she grew up in Miami, Florida.
Alexis began singing at the age of three. She would spend the whole day singing and whistling. At the age of 8 Alexis started to write her own songs. It was then when her parents knew she would become a singer and hired a vocal teacher, then her journey took flight.
Alexis has been seen and heard in Clubs and Festivals across the country. Alexis has performed on the Mr 305 / United Nations Stage in Calle Ocho 2013. Pridefest 2012 ,Coral Gables Hispanic Cultural Festival 2012, A taste of Cuba Festival 2013 and many more.

In 2011, Alexis was signed to a recording contract by label President, Rod Carrillo, to Carrillo Music LLC. Alexis was spotted by Carrillo after he was giving one of her demo tapes by Dj Barona from Los Angeles. Since then Alexis has been busy doing shows around the country. In 2011 Her first release with Liam Keegan "Never Knew"hit # 1 in the UK and topped the billboard Charts here at # 35 and got International attention and in 2012 she released "Lead Me To The Dance Floor" and did very well Internationally. now in 2013 she is set to her solo releases of " I Need You" " Paranoid " and " Mad World ".
