of 5 she has honed her skills to become the energetic and innovative artist that

Growing up Leila had years of schooling in the fine arts,
while polishing her vocal talent in the church. “Ever since I was a little girl
my father told me I was going to be a star. He said that after my 5-year-old
rendition of “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston.”
Growing up in Miami to Bahamian and American parents, Leila’s
music is influenced by gospel, R&B, pop, rock, hip-hop and Caribbean music.
Just like the melting pot that is Miami, Leila Capri’s music is distinct, and

A mogul in the making, she is one of the founders of Blaq Kanvas
Entertainment, soon to be the number one entertainment company in the
Southeast. She is a familiar face in South Florida nightclubs and on South Florida’s
WEDR 99 Jamz, first for her 70’s reminisced electro-pop single “Wonderwoman.”
Now she is burning up the airways with her new single “Fantasy” produced by the
industry’s new golden-boy Drew Money (Little Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Flo-rida).
Everything from head turning face and body art to her fierce
vocals, Leila Capri has a personality and drive that is indicative of the Next
